Well, I am a little behind. Didn't even get those Christmas cards out this year. In looking back over the last year Dave and I both are humbled when we try to comprehend our blessings. We are so thankful for our friends and our family and our life would not be complete without each one of you. Hope your Christmas was one that you will always remember and cherish as ours was. We are busy but we are always mindful of all of you and wish you the very best in the year to come!

Lake Powell was a ton of fun as always, and as always, I am sad to put the boat away for the winter and get out the skis. I kind of like being warm. Jeremy is enjoying the married scene. He is working as a pharmacy tech and going to school. Before you know it he will be graduating as well and moving on to grad school. That is he and Katelyn's plan for now. He continues to pull out those 4.0's and I only wish that he got his brains from his mom.

January 2nd was a happy day at the Ward house when the UTES won. I wasn't sure if the construction of the house was sturdy enough but we discovered that it truley was and the roof did not come down. Since then there has sure been a lot of "BCS" talk around here. Whatever!

Chan is the PROUD recipient of his Eagle Scout award. We are so proud of you CHAN! Way to go. And Dave and I are breathing a sigh of relief (especially Dave since he does all the work!)

Christmas this year was a lot of fun with the Evers staying with us! The only time we get a snowman is when they come and that is ALWAYS a lot of fun! Thanks for coming and sharing your family with us!

We are so proud of our newest addition to our family, Katelyn! She graduated! What an awesome achievement Katelyn. We are so blessed to have her in our family. I think that Jer was a little proud of her as well!

Morgan is still working at McKay and going to school. She is working nights now and seems to like it a little better. She is LOVING the snow and her and Catie are faithfully working on the skiing and boarding skills. She is always busy and has a very cute place. She is always DOWN with showing it off so if you are ever in the area....stop in on her! You have my permission.

Corey's home! It's been a joy to have in back home with us. It keeps things fun and interesting! Corey and Jenna have called off the engagement and although they are still dating, they have decided they weren't ready for marriage. Corey is starting school on Monday. He will be starting the Machinist program and then is planning on going on to become an engineer. Those of you who know Corey know that this is where his talents are. He is excited to get going. Once again he is in search of a job. The navy is paying for his school for a few months so that is a huge blessing. We love Cor so much and we are so glad to have him home.

Tyler is loving being 16 and this was his first date to homecoming. He is a lot of fun to have around and is growing so fast that there is never enough food in the house nor enough sleep in his life. He is also liking the WINGS that the old Suburban provides in his life. The only problem with that is it can fit A LOT of teenagers, which is not always a good thing. However, with the bad winter, the 4WD has been priceless!

I'm a little slow but I thought that I would update things a little. We are all back to school now and Chandler is in the 8th grade. He is still swimming and planing on doing that for the rest of his life. That means you all need to hold him to it!?! His energy is contagious and I only wish I could keep up with the boy!

Summer's Over?!?!

Thanks for the inspiration Desi!! I have been thinking about doing this for a long time and I think it's a great way to keep up on what's new in our and your lives!!! Please join in!

It has been a great and busy summer! We had a wedding, a bunch of fun times in the boat, a son join the navy and a daughter move out! Tyler went to Nauvoo for EFY Dave spent a lot of time with the young men and women in the ward in all kinds of places!

The Newlyweds

Jer and Katelyn are happily married and living in Washington Terrace. They have a cute place and are enjoying the married life. They are both going to school this fall and it's going to be Katelyn's last semester. (YEAH!!) Jer got an awesome sholarship and so did Katelyn.

Corey's a Sailor

We had a great time with Corey in Chicago. He graduated from boot camp and has moved to Florida for his airman, rescue swim and A school. I wish I understood what that all meant but I am trying to get a grip on the military lingo!?!?

He is very homesick and misses EVERYONE!! He would love you call him on his cell phone (801-814-1609) Or a letter: Airman Ward, Corey

AND Corey's engaged!!

I dont' have any ring pictures yet...but last week Jenna went to Florida to visit and he gave her a ring. They were engaged on the beach in Pensacola. They are excited and looking forward to being able to STAY together!! They plan on getting married next summer....

The kids at the wedding

Morgan has moved to South Ogden. She is living in a cute apartment that is very close to the school and work. She is one busy girl and we don't get to see her enough. She is sticking with her plans to go to medical school...so her work ethic will help!

Tyler is starting his sophmore year. He is getting so tall!! He is loving the fact that he can drive now and date?? He is going to be busy this year as a sophmore class officer. In fact he already has been!

Chandler is his usual happy self! He is starting 8th grade. He has decided to give up soccer and spend more time in the pool. So he will be swimming a lot this year!
